Mt Lyford Alpine Resort: Winter APPLICATION FOR 2013 EMPLOYMENT Applications open from February 2013 At Mt Lyford Alpine Resort we employ 15 staff during the snow season, which runs from early July to beginning of October. We require personnel who are team players who are dedicated and will provide our customers with the best possible service & experience. You need to be energetic and positive, be able to work under pressure and love the outdoors, it is challenging environment. Please note: As Mt Lyford Alpine Resort is a smaller commercial snow resort all staff are involved in the day to day operations

Kaikoura: Summer CHEFS NEEDED FOR SUMMER 2013/2014 Positions are also available in Kaikoura at two of the seaside towns most popular Restaurant/ Bars, 'The Whaler' & 'The Adelphi'. How to apply for a position?
Copy the online application form, fill it in and mail or email it back to us. Application Form Send a cover letter with a current curriculum vitae. Please state the type of employment and position you are looking for. For Alpine Coaching (Ski & Snowboard School) please attach a photocopy of relevant qualifications plus a photograph. All overseas applicants need to send a recent passport-type photograph plus a copy of the work visa. We are only able to help fully qualified instructors to obtain a work permit. Please note that the position of ‘Instructors’ is on our Immediate Skill Shortage List, so you can apply for a visa directly through your nearest NZ Embassy. All others need to get a holiday work permit from an overseas NZ - Embassy before we can consider the application (does not apply to NZ or Australian residents). The visas can be applied for through the New Zealand Embassy of your country. Note that the visa must be applied for in your home country - working holiday visas are not issued once you are in New Zealand. For further information on visas for New Zealand please refer to the New Zealand Immigration Service website www.immigration.govt.nz Interviews: All applicants from New Zealand & overseas (except instructors) need to be available for a personal interview, a time and place to be arranged. Hours of work and length of employment can vary with weather and snow conditions. We only employ people who can make a commitment for the entire season. We find the staff accommodation in the Mt Lyford area. Transport from the Mt Lyford Log Chalet Village to the snow resort is provided.
