Located off the main road in a central area of the Mt Lyford Alpine Village, this home has been enjoyed by couples, friends and families since 1994. The house is fully set up with spa, frig/freezer, tv, dvd/video, Freeview, log burner, [wood supplied,] washing machine/drier and cooking gear/barbecue. There is an additional charge of $10/per person/day. Sheets are available for a one off payment each bed of $10 or make sure to bring your own. There are reductions for off-season periods.

Waiau Motor Camp

Waiau Motor Camp is a family run camp and has a range of accommodation options including 12 rooms which sleep 2-4 people, 3 of the rooms are double bedrooms with an internal door to the adjoining bunk room. Double bedrooms are all equipped with a couch, fridge and tea & coffee making facilities.16 powered sites, 30 non powered sites.

Waiau Motor Camp and Backpackers is wheelchair accessible. We also provide a fully equipped communal kitchen with fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster and all other normal kitchenware. We also have a Dining room / TV lounge, playground, separate toilet and shower facilities, coin operated washing machine and dryer, BBQ, camp store & dump station.

Cut lunches and cooked meals are available on request (24 hours notice required) .
