Sorry we are now CLOSED for the season.
Thank you to all those who came up and enjoyed the mountains this year. We had some great snow through August and it was great to see you up here.

Please remember a day pass is required to access the lift facilities and all slopes at Mt Lyford. We are a small family owned and operated ski area and work very hard at keeping our unique and special mountain operating year to year.
We will ask to see your day pass for the day.
DOG POLICY: As one of New Zealand’s only ski area’s that is dog friendly, we welcome your dog to visit the snow with you. There is a dog pass that is required and rules to follow. $20 per dog per Day. DOG POLICY & RULES

veChains must be carried at all times as conditions can change rapidly at any time. Please if your vehicle is not suitable for the alpine environment or our access road look at alternatives = shuttle, car pool, hitch a ride.
Sorry we do not hire chains.
Shuttle: 12 seat 4wd van
Pick up at the access gate/ top of the village: 9:30am, returns at 3:15pm from the mountain on Weekdays & 8.30am, returns 4pm on Weekends $45/person return. Booking is essential:
