A beautiful day! Clear with light winds.

All main trails groomed this morning, and it will be great skiing and riding today with good snow cover and the off-piste firm this morning and releasing during the day.

​

The Learners, Tubing Luge, Paradise Platters and Cloudy T-Bar will be spinning from 9am. The Lower Terako Rope will be operating from Midday on demand.

​

The Upper Terako Rope will be Open today! We still have some work to do as we need to splice another section of rope in and load test. It's been a big effort, but we are almost there! We hope to have it running this afternoon for some corn slashing and are pleased to finally be able to get you back to the top of the mighty Mt Terako!

The Inland Road is also now open from the North through Kaikoura for 4wds/Awds which is amazing to have this link back! Thank you to the teams that have worked so hard on getting this lifeline back open for the community.

​

The mountain road is now clear to the top and most vehicles can come on up without chains.

​
